DAY 1-2
Windhoek

Arrive into Windhoek airport. You will be met by a member of our grounds team.

Explore the city, visit local markets, and relax after your flight.

This afternoon our grounds team will drop off your car and answer any last minute questions you might have.

DAY 2-3
Windhoek > The Kalahari

Leave Windhoek and drive to the Kalahari (approx. 2.5 h)

This afternoon you will embark on a guided sundowner drive.

Kalahari > Fish River Canyon
DAY 3-5

This morning drive from the Kalahari to Fish River Canyon (approx. 6.5h).

Spend the next two nights exploring the second largest canyon in the world! You can embark on long hikes, join guided drives, or simply relax and enjoy a sundowner while taking in one of the most breathtaking views on the planet.

DAY 5-7
Fish River Canyon > Aus

Drive from Fish River Canyon to the small town of Aus (approx. 3-4 hours).

Spend the next two nights exploring the historic mining town of Aus, known for its rich heritage and captivating scenery. Just west of Aus lies Kolmanskop, an abandoned diamond mining town that the desert has reclaimed, creating a hauntingly beautiful landscape.

During your stay, you can also witness the famous wild horses of the Namib, which roam freely in the area. The surrounding vistas offer excellent opportunities for hiking, photography, and experiencing the unique charm of this fascinating region.

DAY 7-9
Aus > Sossusvlei

Drive from the Aus > Sossusvlei (approx. 5h).

Today, you will set off on the drive north to Namibia's infamous ruby red desert.

On your second day here, wake at sunrise and head to Big Daddy, one of the largest dunes in the world. You'll also visit the iconic Deadvlei, where ancient, dead trees contrast starkly against the white clay pan and red dunes, creating a photographer's paradise.

DAY 10-11
Namib-Naukluft Mountains > Windhoek

Leave the Naukluft and head for Windhoek (approx. 4-5h).

In the afternoon you will drop off your car and head to a guesthouse where you will spend your last night. If you have time, this afternoon, you can explore Windhoek.

DAY 9-10
Sossusvlei > Namib-Naukluft Mountains

Drive from Sossusvlei to the Naucluft Mountains.

Explore the beautiful surrounding mountains via scenic hiking trails.

Wimdhoek > Airport

Today you will be collected from your guesthouse in time for your international flight from Windhoek Airport.

We will then accommodate any tweaks and changes you might have. Once we have finalised all the details to your satisfaction, we will require a deposit to secure your trip. Following that, we will provide you with finalised itinerary.

Approximately two months prior to your trip, we will send you your final travel documents.
When it's time to leave for your trip, rest assured we'll be there to support you every step of the way, alongside our dedicated ground teams.
And upon your return, we'll still be here to assist you, ensuring a seamless conclusion to your journey.
